EKON RoadArmor™ riding pants are sold in one place only: our own store, ekontravel.com, operated by EKON TRAVEL. We do not sell on Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, Temu, Walmart, Etsy or any other marketplace, and we have no authorized resellers, dealers or distributors anywhere in the world. If a website other than ekontravel.com offers riding pants called RoadArmor, EKON RoadArmor or Road Armor, EKON did not supply them and cannot vouch for them.
EKON RoadArmor is motorcycle riding apparel made for EKON TRAVEL. Other companies use a similar name for unrelated products, such as truck bumpers, or for other riding garments. Those are not EKON products and this notice is not about them. This notice is about the riding pants we make and the sellers who use our name or our photos without our permission.
Where EKON RoadArmor is sold
- Official store: ekontravel.com, operated by EKON TRAVEL. This is the only website that sells genuine EKON RoadArmor: EKON RoadArmor™ Riding Pants and EKON RoadArmor™ Women's Riding Pants.
- Shop app: the EKON TRAVEL storefront inside Shopify's Shop app is our own store. An order placed there goes directly to EKON TRAVEL and is the same as ordering on ekontravel.com.
- Amazon: EKON has no Amazon store and no Amazon listings, so EKON RoadArmor is not sold there. Any RoadArmor riding pants listing on Amazon was not placed by EKON and is not sold or supported by us.
- AliExpress, Temu, Alibaba, DHgate, Wish: we have never listed RoadArmor on any of these sites and have never supplied stock to any seller there, so a RoadArmor riding pants listing on these sites did not come from EKON.
- eBay, Walmart Marketplace, Etsy, Facebook Marketplace: we do not sell on any of these and have never authorized anyone to sell RoadArmor there.
- Resellers, dealers, distributors, dropshippers: there are none. EKON has never authorized anyone to sell EKON RoadArmor.
Other websites are not authorized to sell EKON RoadArmor
EKON has never supplied RoadArmor riding pants to any other website, store or seller. A listing that uses the EKON name, the RoadArmor name or our product photos on a site other than ekontravel.com did not get its stock from us. We did not make what it ships, we did not check it and we did not certify it, so we cannot vouch for its materials, its armor or its protection. When a seller uses our name and our photos without our permission to sell riding pants, we treat that listing as counterfeit: it is not our original product and it is not our original protection. Such listings often spell the name Road Armor, EKON Road Armor or Ekon Roadarmor Riding Pants and sell far below our price.
Genuine EKON RoadArmor pants carry armor that is independently tested and certified to EN 1621-1:2012 Level 2. That certification applies to the pants we sell on ekontravel.com. We cannot vouch for the armor, the materials or the protection of anything sold elsewhere, and in a slide that certification is the difference that matters.
A rider who bought a genuine pair on ekontravel.com is of course free to resell it. That pair may be genuine, but our 60 day trial, our free size exchange and our 1 year warranty stay with the original order on ekontravel.com and do not transfer to a later buyer. Our support team can only help with orders placed with us.
How to know you are buying the real thing
- The address bar says ekontravel.com. EKON sells RoadArmor riding pants on no other website.
- The product is called EKON RoadArmor™ Riding Pants or EKON RoadArmor™ Women's Riding Pants, and the page explains the CE Level 2 armor and its certification.
- Your order confirmation comes from EKON TRAVEL and your order can be tracked on ekontravel.com.
- The 60 day trial, the free size exchange and the 1 year warranty are stated on the product page. They are offered by EKON only, on orders placed on ekontravel.com.
If a seller offers RoadArmor riding pants at a fraction of our price, promises next day delivery from a marketplace warehouse, or cannot show the certification, the pants were not sold by EKON.
Why we sell direct only
RoadArmor is protective gear. We set the specification and we sell every pair ourselves, so the pair you receive is made to the same specification as every other pair we sell and carries the same armor that was independently certified to EN 1621-1:2012 Level 2. Selling through marketplaces would mean giving up that control, and it would mean letting copies sit next to the real thing under the same name. We would rather sell fewer pairs and know every one of them is genuine.
